This season has seen great leaps forward in production of large scale improvements to the trail tread and storm water management. Implementation of mechanized equipment brought forth through donations received from a generous and thankful user group has made this possible. We (RIDENOX COUNCIL) give thanks for all the positive feedback and seemingly endless revenue of a diverse user population. We've come a long way from the days of 2" pick axe blades and much sweat and grunt labor exerted by the few. It proves that the continuity, vision and determination of a group can accomplish great things.
Over the course of this season we have seen young, old, families, enthusiasts, dusted off garage relics of yesteryear cyclists and an influx of department store start-ups (as evidenced by the immense collection of reflector ejectors we have gathered), not to mention the countless hikers and dog walkers also making use of the trail system. Needless to say, we take great pride in being able to produce such a favorable environment for all to enjoy.
As the season winds down, be sure to enjoy crisp days, crunchy leaves and the beauty of our surroundings. Remember to respect other users and be aware that hunting is permitted in our area of the park, so wear bright colors and obey trail closures on posted hunting days. Also, know that when the trail tread loses its integrity, as it does every year, the time to take your riding elsewhere has come. Responsibility and accountability is yours. Respect your favorite trail.
Thanks for a great season,
RIDENOX COUNCIL
