Thanks to everyone who came out to the Inaugural Noxtoberfest Poker Ride. The morning started out with a little light rain then stopped and the rain held off for the rest of the event. There were 33 riders that came out in all and between the riders, t-shirt sales, and donations we were able to raise $1,000 for the trails. Special thanks to all of the volunteers that were at the stations, without you we would not have been able to pull this event off.

Thanks to all the kids and their parents who turned out to enjoy dry trails, beautiful scenery, and cool/comfortable weather on Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day 2012 today. Morning showers and ominously rainy forecasts gave way to an enjoyable afternoon where kids got to finetune their riding skills on one of the best trail systems in Pennsylvania. Looking forward to TAKMBD 2013 - be there!
Work was undertaken today to significantly improve the entry/exit on the Lower Hammer crick crossing nearest the Route 563 (Mountain View Dr.) bridge. Work next week will likely shift back to drainage improvements on the South Park loop approaching Gnome Home from the northwest.
