ATTENTION: Nockamixon Mountain Bike Trails CLOSED

10/31/2012

The Nockamixon Mountain Bike Trail System is CLOSED until further notice due to excessive numbers of fallen/leaning trees as well as hanging branches.  Nockamixon trail builders hiked portions of the system today and verified that the trails are currently impassable.

Please avoid riding at Nockamixon until an 'all-clear' is posted here.  Updates will be posted here as work commences this weekend and progresses for the forseeable future to clear the system loop-by-loop.

Thank you for you cooperation and patience.

10/7/2012

Thanks to all the kids and their parents who turned out to enjoy dry trails, beautiful scenery, and cool/comfortable weather on Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day 2012 today.  Morning showers and ominously rainy forecasts gave way to an enjoyable afternoon where kids got to finetune their riding skills on one of the best trail systems in Pennsylvania.  Looking forward to TAKMBD 2013 - be there!
